Highlight

Solar facade on the world's second largest wooden skyscraper.
This new multi-purpose building was constructed entirely of wood. Our bronzecolored SKALA modules enclose the SPA area located on the top floor at a height of 80 m and are a wonderful addition to the wooden construction of the building.
Technical execution
BIPV - building-integrated photovoltaics: Our frameless thin-film modules in a glass-glass design fit seamlessly into the building envelope. Thanks to the rear mounting system, no mechanical clamping to the front glass is required. Our standard format of 1587 mm x 664 mm can be adapted and mounted in portrait or landscape format.
Design
SKALA modules offer architects and facade planners the opportunity to realize individually designed solar facades with maximum aesthetics. Compatible with all common facade substructures and especially suitable for rear-ventilated facades, SKALA can be combined with a variety of other facade materials.
Photovoltaics
CIGS technology is one of the most powerful and long-term stable thin-film processes. The 304 SKALA modules in the color bronze provide a system output of approx. 40 kWp on this 320 m² facade surface. The PV system generates an energy yield of approx. 22 MWh per year.
Project process
From the idea on paper to the installation of the SKALA modules on the facade, we take on a variety of planning tasks for our customers as part of our projects, support them in the implementation of their personal PV solution and at the same time create added architectural value for the buildings.
